Here are a few pages of my Kleyn. Some of them didn't scan very well because of the colors of the pages, but they'll have to do. My sisters tried to nickname him Loogie and then Turtle, but Kleyners stuck, so that's what we call him now.
Buddy was so good with Kleyn. He always let us take pictures with him and he was always so patient with him. When we got him he was only 2, so he would have been an awesome dog for a while. I still wish we knew what happened to him.

I was still working for a few months after we had Kleyn, so he got to spend a lot of time at my dad's house. His aunties and grandpa loved babysitting him.

These pictures are why Aunt Shells wanted to call him turtle. She said that when he made that face, he looked like a turtle, so that's what she was going to call him. I don't know why he started making that face or when he stopped, but it was pretty funny while it lasted.

When Kleyn got to the point where he could chew (or gum things to death) he just couldn't get enough. He loved crackers and vanilla wafers and those biter biscuits. It made such a mess.

When I worked on Friday nights Danny would watch Kleyn. Danny had gotten a new baja video called Dust to Glory. Whenever Kleyn got fussy and Danny couldn't calm him down, they would put in this video and Kleyn would stop crying instantly. He loved watching the big trucks and listening to the sounds of the engines. He is definitely Danny's son.

Kleyn was so funny when he started crawling. He did the army crawl for a couple of weeks and then one day he started rocking back on his knees. It only took him a day to figure that one out and then he was cruising around like crazy. It was so much fun to see him get to that stage. I couldn't believe how fast it happened.

Kleyn didn't eat baby food very long. He really wanted to eat whatever we were eating. He has always been a picky eater and that day he was being a total booger about it. It didn't take him long to figure out how to feed himself so that he didn't have to deal with his mom.
