We have had a little bit of a bird problem in our little alley way this year. They keep building nests in the rain gutters and are constantly flying around our heads when we go out to the garage. Last night when we got home from playing baseball, as Danny was bringing things in from the car, he startled one and it flew into our house. He said it was a swallow of some sort. It kept flying around in circles and running into the wall. Danny said we could turn out all the inside lights and turn on the alley light to see if it would fly out the door, but it was burnt out. The boys were so excited to see a bird flying around the dining room. It finally calmed down a little when Danny went out to change the light bulb and it rested for a while on my FHE board. The light trick worked and we got it out with no real damage. I did however wake up to find a nice little surprise on my mouse this morning when I went to turn on my computer. Thanks little birdy for the unwanted gift. :)

As for the bird problem. Go buy one of those rubber snakes and set it where they build their nests. You won't see them again.
mahahahah thats funny. I saw perhaps that exact same type of snake that grandma had on her porch at the dollar store.
